Anthony Bell’s Blending Class
Become a Napa Valley winemaker for the day as you discover the winemaking process of creating your own signature Meritage blend. Participants taste and evaluate six Bell wines, including 3 different Cabernet sauvignon clones, Merlot, Petit Verdot and/or Cabernet Franc. Teams utilize base wines to create and select the best of their trial blends. Napa Valley winemaker Anthony Bell will judge the final results, and members of the winning team take home a bottle of Bell’s favorite blend and considerable bragging rights!

Food & wine aficionado Kristine Nickel moderates a panel of distinguished winemakers including: Charles Curtis, Master of Wine for Moet Hennessy; Gianni Abate, Winemaker for Morgan Winery; Pat Henderson, Head Winemaker for Heck Estates; Kirk Lambert, Assistant Winemaker for Stanley Lambert Wines and others as they discuss how wineries are “going green” without sacrificing taste.
